After years of development, V12throttle Corp is pleased to introduce the new complete fuel pump assembly for the 1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and Stealth Turbo. This assembly features a plug-and-play installation along with several enhancements, all while maintaining the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) form, reliability, and functionality.

The assembly is constructed using only the highest quality components, including high-grade coated steel, PTFE wiring, and Teflon rubber. It has undergone extensive real-world testing, covering thousands of miles, prior to its market introduction.

The Turbo pump motor has been meticulously designed from the ground up, utilizing carbon commutators. It achieves a flow rate of 185 liters per hour at 43 psi and 13.5 volts under boost, representing an upgrade from the original 160 liters per hour unit, all while ensuring quiet operation. Additionally, the pump motor is engineered for efficiency, drawing similar amperage to the stock unit and preventing burnout of the fueling circuit relay.

The pump assembly is delivered complete with a pre-installed plug-in OEM harness and a top rubber seal.

Please note: To remove the 3000GT fuel pump, refer to the Mitsubishi Technical Bulletin. The OEM rubber line connected to the fuel pump hard line cannot be undone as both connector sockets are solid and do not twist. Instead, the rubber line must be disconnected from underneath the vehicle, where the hard line connector can twist. Once the line is disconnected from beneath the vehicle, it can then be detached at the fuel pump side. It is important to be aware that the fuel pump connectors and the nuts securing the pump assembly to the tank may be rusty; therefore, it is advisable to use plenty of penetrating oil prior to attempting removal.
