My linear paintings are always about life lines. This one is about the spaces between one moment and the next in the journey of life. The moment when the future seems uncertain, or when you pause then change direction, or when you make a wish and wait for it to come true. Between one breath and the next, there are spaces where anything can happen. 

Raised textured lines extend around the sides of the panel with a space in the center. Washes and spatterings of blue, cream and grey highlight the textured area with white washed over the top and bottom sections. The pale colors and rope-like texture are perfect for a beach house or coastal interior.

Acrylic paint on fiber texture on 2" deep cradled birch panel. Texture and colors extend around sides and the panel does not need framing.
