Hamburg American Line: A twelve-page Cabin (First) Class deck plan brochure with interiors dated 1930 for the CLEVELAND.
Five decks are shown in detail with color-coding for cabin type. Besides a portrait-at-sea, black and white photos show two views of the Promenade Deck, Lounge, Winter Garden, the bedroom of a suite, a C Deck stateroom, Ladies Saloon, sitting room of a suite, Dining Saloon, and Smoking Room.
Like most German liners of the pre-WW1 era, the CLEVELAND was laid up during the war and then confiscated by the Allies afterwards. She bumped around for awhile - first to the U.S. Navy, then to White Star, then to Byron Steamship Company, before joining the fleet of United American Lines which was partially owned by HAPAG. By 1926 she was able to reenter the Hamburg American Line fleet. But the Depression ended her service and she was broken up in 1933.
Very good condition.
