United Netherlands Navigation Company (V.N.S.) - A deluxe, sixteen-page fleet interiors brochure from the late 1930s for the company's Europe to the Far East combo liners.

The cover features excellent deco graphics highlighted in gold. Inside the pages are bright orange.

Included are the AAGTEKERK and ALMKERK twins, built in 1934. Photos show they were fitted with unusual Maierform bows. Two sets of early 1920s ships are profiled - SEROOSKERK and ZUIDERKERK plus GAASTERKERK and GROOTEKERK.

Each set gets two decks' worth of plans. Twelve b&w photos, unidentified as to vessel, show off comfortable, even stylish cabins and public rooms.

Tragically, all six of these vessels were lost in the coming war.
