White Star Line: An "emergency stations" full ship plan for the HOMERIC, the somewhat unloved third ship in White Star's post-WW1 transatlantic fleet.
The plan is printed on thick stock and measures 30" by 34". Emergency stations plans would have been displayed behind glass throughout the ship to show evacuation routes. While some show specific routes or just one class, this one covers the entire ship and all classes.
The level of detail is amazing. For example, tucked into the accommodation areas are hidden linen closets, air ducts, and drying rooms. Details in the galleys include ranges, bake rooms, and even the chef's office. Further down in the hull cold storage rooms include one for butter, cream, and eggs, another for milk and fish, and more for fruit, wine, and mineral water. Stewards were berthed in the tip of the bow on E Deck while firemen and trimmers shared dormitories on F Deck next to the boiler rooms. There is much more to see so grab a magnifying glass and be prepare to view this ship as you've never viewed it before.
Very good condition.
