When you enroll, I will send you an overview of what to expect, a materials list, a link to a video of myself working in some cases, and we will together our best time and location to enjoy a two hour lesson together under my guidance.

We begin each session with a brief period of meditative silence to gather ourselves into our centers and a little Dharma talk.

For abstract sumi e painting, you will learn basic materials, brushstrokes, and then how to create an original painting from your heart and soul, opening to the flow of Ch'i or life energy. You will accomplish several sumi e paintings in this time. Last, we have sharing time on what you have experienced and how you want to continue your own personal growth and development with new tools now.

These sessions have two options, either on a mutually agreed schedule live - if you are local, we will agree on a site and work privately one on one. If you are out of the city, USA or international, you will want to choose the Zoom option and we will work via Zoom.
