This is an attractive length of hand woven, indigo dyed cotton that shows a good looking, large scale plaid pattern.
The design is bold and the indigo is rich in blue tones. The undyed yarns have a warm cast and the weaving is tight: this is a durable length of old cotton.
It is hand stitched from two pieces, the smaller of the two measuring only 4 1/4" or 11 cm wide.
