After releasing Codename: Renegade, Musical Sampling decided it was prudent to also include Medusa’s tonal sound design material as its own standalone release.

Designed for cinematic and aggressive contexts, Codename: Medusa was a fun exercise in developing what Musical Sampling felt would be necessary to properly compliment a track involving modern percussion ensembles. From tempo-synced guitars, brass and crowd chants (warning: includes the f-bomb), to true analog synths, piano and cello — there’s plenty here to disturb your friends and family.
