These pivots feature a point located 3/4" from the heel edge of the door. Positioned in front of the door, the pivot point exposes its knuckle. It comes with a standard offset of either 3/4" or 1-1/2". The larger 1-1/2" offset is ideal for specific applications such as decorative panels on the push side of the door or trim projections that restrict the door from opening fully to 180 degrees. Offset pivots are designed for single-acting doors and are typically installed on rabbeted frames.
