Create an environmentally friendly and economical composting system with Greenes Composting Bins, made from second-quality North American cedar boards. These bins allow you to turn household waste into natural fertilizer for your lawn, garden, and flower beds. The boards used in these composters may have minor imperfections, such as warping that does not affect performance and knot holes that do not impact the product's longevity. Despite these cosmetic flaws, the bins are fully functional and provide an affordable, sustainable composting solution.

Simply layer "greens" (such as vegetable and fruit peelings, coffee grounds, tea bags, and grass clippings) and "browns" (such as eggshells, cardboard, corncobs, and cotton towels), then allow the materials to begin composting. The open design of the bins makes it easy to turn the pile every two to three weeks with a shovel or pitchfork, helping to aerate the compost and speed up the decomposition process. Depending on your climate and the materials used, your compost will be ready in 3 to 12 months.

For a continuous supply of compost, consider creating a multi-bin system. Once one bin is full and the materials begin breaking down, simply transfer them to the next bin and start a new batch in the first. A three-bin system ensures a smooth, continuous composting process.

Greenes composting bins made from seconds-quality wood are available in two sizes: 36" x 36" x 27 1/8" (20.34 cubic feet) or 48" x 48" x 27 1/8" (36.17 cubic feet). Each bin includes 4 posts, 16 boards (3/4" thick), and 24 spacers. You may cover the bin with a tarp or plywood (not included) if desired.
