For those of our Oddbird family that have been with us from the beginning, you may recognize our Fidan robe from the launch of our handwoven robes in 2016.

Over the years, the Fidan collection became one of our most fondly remembered and requested styles and we are thrilled to once again offer this weave as a limited edition piece for these cooler months.

The thickest piece in the Oddbird collection and ready just in time for relaxing days spent at home through the cooler months, this collection features a handwoven cotton heavy-weight fabrication with a classic herringbone weave and stunning jade & burnt orange striped detail.

Pack it in your child's beach bag to throw over a swimsuit, in their sleepover knapsack to wear over PJs or a holiday suitcase for a quick-drying and space saving alternative to fleece robes or terry towels. Not only can this garment be used as a traditional robe, it can also double as a light duster coat over any daywear. Multifunctional is a mother's favorite word.

Please note: All of our handwoven textiles are washed in a traditional Turkish soap right off the loom, removing any natural allergens from the weaving process and leaving behind our signature Oddbird scent. It’s a warm, grounding aroma that’s become part of who we are for a decade. That said, if you’re scent-sensitive, a gentle soak in a baking soda and vinegar bath for a few hours, followed by a wash and delicate dry, will remove the fragrance and kick off the breaking-in process, bringing your OB towel and/or robe closer to peak softness and absorbency.
