A wonderful Victorian era locket ring commemorating the passing of Ann Waller on June 27th 1857 at the age of 73.
This spectacular black enamel ring is 18k gold and bears hallmarks indicating that it was assayed in London in 1857. The heart at the top of the ring opens exposing a tiny domed glass compartment. The exterior of the band reads "In Memory Of."
The ring is a size 6.5 and can't be resized. It is in good condition with some wear to the enamel.
