Check out this sweet vintage Ancient History school wall map of the The Mediterranean World from 550 - 500 B.C. that was printed by the A.J. Nystrom Co. of Chicago, Illinois. This wonderful map is printed on a heavy paper material and comes with the original metal bracket which still works and is very easy to mount. Chart still rolls up and down fluidly and its original wooden rod is attached firmly to the bottom of the chart. Attached to the wooden rod is a metal pull hook. This map would look great hanging in your library or study or would serve as a great educational work of art in your child's bedroom!
Specifically, this map focus on the Greek and Phoenician settlements in the Mediterranean World as well as the land ruled by the Persian Empire.
Measurements (with bracket and wooden rod): Approximately 43.5” long x 54.75" wide
Item Condition: Great vintage condition with no tears or stains! Rolls up and down fluidly. Has some minor wear due to years of use (i.e. a few minor wrinkles, creases, etc). Colors are still wonderfully bold and vivid! Teal canvas band above wooden rod shows light wear. Please refer to the pictures for further details!
