This is my newest hand carving of a alligator. This is my most realistic looking alligator I have ever done. I have had several requests to make a larger alligator due to the popularity of my alligator jewelry. So I took on the project of hand carving this completely three dimensional alligator with life-like detail of all the scales and bumps all over its body. It took me over two weeks to individually hand carve each scale on this piece as I studied the anatomy and details of the shape of this magnificent creature.
