This is a very handmade piece representing the Bluebonnet. I have carefully hand enameled each individual bloom with the blue and white colors they show on the flower. These blooms are shaped like the real ones are on a bluebonnet. The enameling is done over sterling silver as required for the process. The Stems and leaves of this brooch are made out of 14kt. yellow gold. This is a very three dimensional design as you can see in the photos.

The catch and pin stem are 14kt. gold.

The actual size of this brooch is a 1 1/2" tall by 1" wide.
