The Upper:

• Continuing on from the previous few models, Adidas stayed with a silky smooth K Leather upper, and also added a new synthetic line.  This pair features the K Leather upper
• The iconic fold over tongue with the elastic was continued as well.  A slight change from the Predator Pulse and Predator Absolute but very similar
• The main upgrade was the Predator element in the  Swerve soon.  A larger area of the rubber element with 6 grooves added for extra Power, Swerve, and Control
• The PowerPulse technology featured a sand element in the insoles, adding more power.  Did it really work?  Who knows, but everyone still remembers it!

The Sole Plate:

• Continuing with the two piece sole plate, Adidas didn't change much from the Pulse and Absolute model
• A see through spot for the PowerPulse was added where you could physically see the sand move with the boots

Notes and Opinions:

• The Powerswerve quickly became one of the most iconic Preds with the introduction of their newest PowerPulse technology
• It seemed everyone had to have a pair back in the day, and even the pros couldn't resist
