High-quality German Wwii Narvik Im Bild-deutschlands Kampf, Unter Der Mitternachtssonne (narvik In The Picture--germany's War Under The Midnight Sun) 1941 Edition Perfect For Gifting [ZYhfCdj3]-This hardcover book contains 151 photos of the Narvik (in Norway) campaign with 128 photos and illustrations, some in color.  The area of Narvik was captured by German troops on the morning of April 9^th 1940. Their objective was to gain control of the iron ore that was shipped out from the Kiruna mine. Both sides wanted this ore, as it is a critical resource for the arms industry. This book is a larger format, and measure 7 ½ inches (19.05cm) wide and 10 ½ inches (26.67cm) tall. The dustcover has some damage but is in place. The rest of this book is in near excellent condition. This is a very intriguing campaign, and this book has some great photos detailing the fight in Norway.
