Finally Hitler Youth Proficiency Badge In Iron (leistungabzeichen Der Hitler Jugend) For A Limited Time [OPql3seJ]-This level badge was awarded to 15-year-olds and was given for proficiency in multiple categories. The finish is intact on the obverse and has a handsome matte gray look. The finish is slightly lifted on the reverse, but mostly intact. The design consists of a swastika encircled by the wording “Für Leistungen in der HJ” (“For Proficiency in the Hitler Youth”) in a runic script, superimposed over a large runic ‘T’. The reverse has a tombak pin that functions perfectly. This is a very fine badge. The reverse shows an RZM motto, and the maker code of M1/101 indicating production by Gustav Brehmer of Markneukirchen. Great example.
