Our clients want sturdy year-round cottons above any other fabrics. So after some diligent sourcing, we're thrilled to offer these incredible Japanese cotton ripcords!
Based on classic military uniform cloth, Ripcord has a flat micro-scale ribbed weave that gives it exceptional tensile strength. This imparts a subtle visual texture, and will also yield a unique fade pattern with wear.

These fabrics are typically only found in military reproduction pieces, so it's rare to see them n a more tailored design like the Rivet Chino. They're really some of the raddest cottons that we've ever used, and inventory in them is limited.
The weight is 9oz, which is on par with the typical pair of chino pants. It's comfortable for year-round wear. This color is a neutral mix of olive green and medium brown.

The stock inseam length of this chino is 35". We can hem them shorter for a $15 upcharge. Please note that hemmed chinos are final sale and will require an additional few days for fulfillment.

The Rivet Chino

The Rivet Chino is our signature casual trouser. It has the slim, tapered profile and medium-low rise of a jean, but the traditional pockets of a pant. The shape has two front hand pockets, two rear pockets, a heavy-gauge zipper, and a hidden coin pocket at the front waistband.

One of its most distinctive features is the natural herringbone taping running down the interior of the outseam. This handsome detail can be revealed when the chinos are cuffed.

The unlined waistband is pitched for a close, comfortable fit. A chain-stitched rear lap-seam ensures the hard-wearing seam durability of a jean while maintaining the subtle seaming of a trouser. The inseam is 35" long.
