We're thrilled to offer this faithful reproduction of the Beach Boys' classic green-on-white awning stripe. Given our proximity to their hometown of Hawthorne, California, it seemed fitting. Not to mention.. it's just an absolutely incredible pattern all on its own.
Woven by Albini Group in Italy, this 5oz cotton poplin is soft, comfortable, and wearable all year long. The green tone is slightly washed out, and it sits on an optic white ground.
Of course this is a boss match to chinos and a surfboard, but it's a great look with a navy blazer or jeans and white sneakers. Striped shirts are a dime a dozen, but proper awning stripes from storied Italian mills are pretty rare.
Wouldn't it be nice to have one! We have enough for about 10 units in total.
