Our Spartacus series chess pieces are named so after the famous gladiator who lead a history defining uprising against the Roman Republic. The complete army of chessmen have beautiful twin rings at their bases with symmetrical design profiling common from the sovereign to the pawn.
The knights are expressive and have a beautiful flowing mane depicting action on the chess-board.
The set is triple weighted with lead to increase the ballast and playability on the chess board.
Each piece is lovingly hand carved and turned by our master carvers to create a heirloom quality masterpiece.
