Complete 2020 Fender Custom Shop Ltd. '60s Telecaster Thinline Jrn Relic Flame Neck - Today Only [NjI2rTfa]

The hollow two-piece ash body with f-hole wears a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, paired with a gorgeous 3AAA flame maple neck with a '60s-style "oval-C" profile and topped by a 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets. Built in 2020, but only has a few hours of play time with no issues to speak of. The guitar plays extremely well with low action and optimal neck relief.

Sporting the sought after HW Fender Loaded ‘51 NoCaster Pickups… not to be confused with the CS Nocaster 51

The loaded versions have an Alnico 3 bridge overwound to 9.6k and an Alnico 5 neck overwound to around 7.8k. Like the standard version '51 Nocasters, they still use plain enamel magnet wire.

The main difference between the bridge pickups is that it's overwound with thinner 43 gauge magnet wire than the normal '51 Nocaster is wound with which results in the higher resistance, the higher resistance has a smoother top end.

The Loaded neck pickup has both a slightly higher resistance and inductance, but the Alnico 5 magnets also have a much punchier and vibrant sound over the Alnico 3 making it very different overall. The combination of these two alternate takes on these classic pickups provides a very versatile and unique tone combination.
