Fernando Estrada is a world class luthier from Buenos Aires, Argentina who is highly respected around the world for his high quality guitar builds, and is particularly known for these 6 string classical's. This guitar has a beautiful voice and projects extremely well, and fills a room with superb warm rich tone. Fernando has a son named Francisco Estrada Gomez who apprenticed lutherie under his father Fernando, and today the son Francisco has also risen the ranks with his builds and now both father and son are master luthiers with world wide respect, and adoration for building some of the best playing and sounding acoustic guitars available. There's not a lot of frills and fancy adornment on their guitars that drive up the cost of purchase like excessive amounts of inlays, and flashy looking rosette's around the sound hole, instead their builds are simply made from the finest choice woods available with clean lines, and gentle sophisticated curves. The result is a rather straight forward design that is elegant in it's own right, and is beautiful in it's simplicity. When you play and hear one the of their fine instruments it is instantly recognizable that you are in the presence of a very special guitar. Gorgeous Indian Rosewood back and sides and spruce top. The guitar is crack free with finish imperfections and playing wear, please see photo's for a visual representation of the the little pick marks, and minor dings the guitar has picked up along the way in it's 27 years of play. This guitar was a acquired from a great friend, and local customer of ours who grew up in Argentina and lived there for most of his life.
