Our bison are all harvested at 2 years old and are all heifers giving you the most tender bison meat you can buy.  Our bison are grass fed from birth until ninety days before harvest when they are put on corn and alfalfa that we raise right here at our ranch. Corn imparts a slightly sweeter and richer flavor profile to our bison meat.  Alfalfa is a protein-rich forage that ensures that the meat remains lean and nutrient-dense while supporting muscle development and tenderness. Together, corn and alfalfa create a balanced diet during the finishing period, resulting in bison meat that is tender, juicy, and flavorful while still retaining the health benefits associated with bison.
