These contemporary copper statement earrings are bold but yet lightweight. Handmade, they also have somewhat of a boho and organic vibe to them as they dangle from their attractive hammered sterling silver posts. 

So many of my favorite techniques as well as materials play together beautifully in these dimensional earrings.  Textures abound in a unique variety of patterns that have been acid etched, creating a deeply "imbedded" design on the copper.  They have been further enhanced with a "score and bend" technique that adds incredible depth and dimension.  Accents of sterling silver further enhance the design! 

Sterling silver ear nuts on these posts feature a textured face that helps prevent these earrings from turning when worn. The wings on the back of the ear nut are longer, helping to hold posts more securely. The friction between the wings holds the earring securely in place.

These earrings are entirely made by hand by me in my studio. These earrings have both great texture and movement, two design features I feel strongly about incorporating into my work. This is a one-of-a-kind pair. You will love wearing them...and won't ever see them on anyone else!
