Are you looking to expand your child's skills and have a fun-filled winter? The St. Andrew Apostle School Chess Club, now in its Winter 2025 session, offers an exciting opportunity for students of all grades and skill levels to learn and excel in the game of chess. Hosted by the renowned Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Academy), this club is designed to provide a comprehensive chess education, combining lessons and practice games to develop both strategic thinking and a love for the game.

Key Features:

• Comprehensive chess instruction from expert tutors
• Flexible schedule with sessions starting on 2/3 and running for 8 weeks
• Inclusive environment for beginners and advanced players alike

The club runs every Monday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, starting on February 3rd and concluding on April 7th, with the exception of February 17th and March 24th. Over the course of these 8 weeks, students will gain a solid foundation in chess rules and strategies, all the way to advanced tournament techniques.
