Get Your Laminated Chef’s Knife Oct 8-10, 2025 (deposit Only) Christmas Gift Special [VK2pOxT6]

This class will revolve around making a full-sized Laminated Chef’s knife. Laminated steel is a specialty of mine. This is an iconic construction method in Japan and Sweden, but I was the first bladesmith to make laminated stainless/carbon steel and blades in the same shop.

This is an advanced technique, but I am offering this as an introductory class. So even if this is your first knife, it can be something this cool. However, if you have experience as a knifemaker, we will walk through the technicalities so you can take this method back to your shop.

This is a three-day class, October 8-10, 2025.

The class is $1500 for the three-day class.  In order to book the class, only a $100 deposit is collected.  The balance can be paid when you arrive by cash, check, or credit card.  Class is limited to four people.  You must be at least 18 years of age at this time.

Travel:  If you are thinking about traveling here for a class, here's some info.  There's a great local airport about 20 minutes from the shop called Tri-Cities Regional Airport in Blountville, TN (airport code: TRI).  There are several hotels very close as well.  The Fairfield Inn and Suites (Bristol, TN) and the Hampton Inn (Bristol, TN) are the closest, but there are many more just a short drive away.
