The Story
Sunglass clips or "Clip-ons” have been widely used by the U.S. military for many years, and became popularized in the 1940’s. In 1955, a rising Hollywood star by the name of James Dean made clip-on sunglasses his choice for blocking out the sun. From a movie legend spawned an iconic and classic fashion accessory, still standing the test of time. Our sunglass clips are handcrafted in the USA and made-to-order, in your choice of metal and lens finish. The Aviator Square sunglass clips can pair back to our Fairmount frame, which is sold separately.

The Shape
The Aviator style is arguably the most popular and recognized sunglass shapes in the world. Over the years, two styles of Aviator have truly captured the essence of suave sophistication and military street cred. At Cult Eyewear, we have brought back both of these shapes in the “Aviator Round” and “Aviator Square” offerings. For the gentleman who is anything but conventional, the Aviator Square gives a more angular look to your sunglasses, slightly changing the shape of your frame for a more chiseled look to block out the sun.  

The Size
The Small (47) fits our size 43 Fairmount, the Medium (50) fits our size 46 Fairmount, while the Large (53) fits our size 49 Fairmount.
