Each kit consists of two FREEDOM Palm Guards and two 5"L MP Extension Rolls (one 3/4" and one 1 -1/8" diameter). Extension Rolls are firm Plastazote high-density foam cylinders covered with soft, hook-sensitive fabric. They are firm enough to support without stimulating the grasp reflex.

To use, first apply the Palm Guard as directed. Then, without applying force, press the small extension roll into the center of the Palm Guard, under the fingers. The roll will adhere to the hook stitched into the palmar area of the Guard. Once fingers can be partially lifted, the larger diameter roll can be used. To increase thumb abduction, extend the roll 1" beyond the Palm Guard at the thenar web.
