The Deal

This is a package deal for an amazing rod, reel, line, and backing that work great together at a discounted price. In this package we've included an Outlaw Wanted Edition 4wt 8'6" Fly Rod, a Qualifly 4/5 wt Maverick Fly Reel, Outlaw Fly Line, and Outlaw backing. Everything needed to get you going and out there catching fish.

This Package comes with floating line but can be exchanged for sinking, please specify in the notes section at checkout or send us an email if you want sinking line instead.

The Rod

This Wanted edition Fly Rod is a high performance medium-fast action fly rod that will out perform any of the competition at a fraction of the price. This fly rod looks good, feels good, and out performs any of the $800 and over fly rods you see at your local fly shop. From our hand turned real burlwood reel seat inserts to our custom designed cork grip with custom inserts this rod is top of the line. We didn't forget the most important part either, the blank! We have pulled out all the stops on this rod and gave it our all with our next level Graphinex Technology that gives the rod better weight, better sensitivity, and better rebound on the rod so you can get pin point accuracy.

The Reel

The Maverick doesn't fit the mold when is comes to standard fly reel design. It utilizes a semi-frame design to reduce weight and give full exposure to both front and back spool rims. The drag adjustment knob is located inside the frame and can be easily adjusted from the back. This placement of the drag knob shifts the center of gravity to the center of the reel making it perfectly balanced. The reel is fully machined from high quality bar stock (not a brittle casting) and assembled with sealed bearings for the smoothest operation. This frame doesn’t just look good. The contoured back surfaces and the X design combine to make Maverick’s frame very rigid. The spool rims have been designed with a larger cross section to increase strength and make it easier to palm and apply additional drag when needed. The double carbon disc sealed drag requires virtually no start-up inertia. Sealed and saltwater friendly. Can be converted to right or left hand retrieve.

The Line
