Fabulous and meticulously crafted 3-D with cut-outs solid pewter large butterfly pendant by Rune Tennesmed of Sweden on it's original chain. Both the chain and the pendant are in excellent condition with only very light wear and light patina.

Mannequin is a life-size torso representation

Rune Tennesmed was a 20th century Swedish design who worked primarily in pewter. In fact the name Tennesmed translates to pewtersmith. His birth name of Rune Carlsson was changed to reflect his profession and became the name of his company. Rune Carlsson passed away in 2011 but Rune Tennesmed, the company, is still producing jewelry and giftware and is run by the third generation.
