Elegant Strobecom Ii® 3065 Series Full Size (3x7) Emitter System Full Package [vBCU7PWd]
The model 3065 family of TOMAR STROBECOM II® preemption emitters are used on authorized vehicles to activate TOMAR STROBECOM II® 2000, 3000, & 4000 Series products and any other non-coded optical preemption and priority control systems. The 3065 is self-contained, weather-resistant, and operates on 12 or 24 VDC vehicle power. The 3065–R is a remote power supply system designed for installation where available lighthead space is limited.
The 3065–R has all the same features of the 3065. Configured via optional software, the 3065 can emit any of 65,000 vehicle IDs of either Emergency Band (high) or Transit Band (low) priorities. The 3065 is equipped with continuous self-diagnostics with visual feedback and a highly adaptable automatic disable system to prevent intersection lockup. An optional visible light filter can be added to make emitter operation invisible on undercover, transit, or maintenance vehicles.

Why Strobe and not IR LED?
A TOMAR strobe emitter puts out over 100 times more peak Infrared power in its flash than a LED emitter does. The TOMAR strobe uses some of this peak power advantage to project a substantially wider beam, making it easier for an intersection or Strobeswitch gate access-point to detect an approaching emergency vehicle at higher off-axis angles. This also allows TOMAR emitters to have a standard performance rating of over 2,500 feet, and in many cases, a line-of-sight range of a mile. All of this equates to vehicle preemption taking place sooner, and reducing risk.
