Versatile Roady Prototype: Titanium Grip & Barrel, Black Poly Cap Perfect For Gifting [Hnjp1L6d]

This Roady prototype has two firsts for us...

1) our first Titanium back barrel to go along with our standard Titanium grip. We love the dark tinted grey of Titanium and the matte sandblasted finish provides extra grip.

2) our first Polyacetal (Delrin) Roady cap... and in a new grooved style. Polyacetal is an engineering grade plastic that's very durable.

Spoke Roady is compatible with any 'Parker style' refill and ships with a premium Uni Jetstream SXR-600-07 Black 0.7mm refill.

It's a prototype, what does that mean?

We make small quantities of certain parts and designs to try out. Sometimes we then make more and offer them as our 'standard' products, other times after review make changes and adjustments. Sometimes we make the prototypes and that's it. Making small quantities is expensive so our pricing reflects that.

We usually keep the cosmetics of prototypes more 'unrefined'. Through extended use these pens will likely take on some degree of wear marks and patina.

Will there be more?

We like the Ti back barrel and the groove style poly cap geometry. We plan to offer these going forward, likely with various Polyacetal cap colors. We made an initial 5 protos of the black Polyacetal caps and 4 of these caps are offered on this Roady prototype version.
