Fine antique Victorian era hand carved solid horn snuff box, a wonderful little casket with ornate silver or white metal, mother of pearl & brass wire pique inlays! One of a handful of snuff boxes that we have and are getting ready for listing, this a nice medium sized one at a hair under 3.5" wide. Solid horn, hinged lid and base, and, as you can see, it's in wonderfully preserved condition. Be sure to check back if you're a snuff box and/or tobacciana collector. Thanks!

Very good condition, age & materials considered. There is what looks like a small chip to the left side of the front of the box. Also visible is something that looks like marbling along the base of the front and back, natural grain flaws in the horn though and not damage. See pictures for all measurements.
