Such a wonderful softness to this one, feeling almost more as if stained than painted, with the effect of seeing as if having just coming into view after a lifting fog. All very transportive, like a serene corner of the world. 

14" x 9" and in good antique condition, oil on canvas, late 19th/early 20th century I would guess. One tiny tiny hole in the canvas, visible from the reverse but hard to detect at all from the front. Found in Maine.
