The Rite-System consists of two essential aircraft maintenance tools in one kit. The first is the Mag-Rite, which is used to accurately time your aircraft's engine with digital accuracy. And the second is Fly-Rite: a digital protractor in a sturdy ABS frame.

Mag-Rite is a new high-tech approach to the venerable old "tin can" dial indicator so familar to seasoned mechanics. It's designed to address some of the drawbacks of the old dial indicator -- the three main ones of which were: 1. With only two mounting hooks, the tin can was best suited for two-bladed props; 2. The all-aluminum construction meant that it might scratch the spinner if you weren't careful; 3. The pendulum indicator could become inacurate due to friction. Mag-Rite solves all of these problems and more! Manufactured from strong and durable ABS material it will not scratch painted or polished spinners. The cone is designed to securely fit any spinner, and with 6 attach hooks it provides secure attach points for any propeller blade combination. And finally, it uses a digital, easy to read indicator to accurately measure angles to within .1 degrees.

The Fly-Rite Digital Protractor also comes with the kit and it utilizes the same precision digital indicator mounted into a high-impact ABS frame with precisely flat surfaces for extreme accuracy. Use it to quickly and accurately set the proper deflection angle of flight control surfaces and propeller pitch angles.
