This is an American antique quilt made circa 1930s to 1950s. It is a traditional Drunkard's Path Quilt Pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn, which is a labor of love and a lost art. It is important to note that the ground color of the quilt is not white and was never intended to be white. It is more of a vanilla or ivory color. The maker used a premium luxe cotton. The backing (inside of jacket) is a cotton muslin fabric. This piece is extremely thin and very lightweight. The jacket has a very flattering drape and is a dream to wear and style. • The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
• This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.
