The Quest 105 is a versatile and money-saving dehumidifier that is also an effective solution for a variety of storage facilities, restaurants, schools, retail and other commercial applications.

Equipped with an onboard dehumidistat, the Quest 105 will maintain the set-point, removing up to 105 pints of water at standard AHAM (80 F/60% RH) conditions to preserve structure integrity and help prevent disease on plants.

Other features include optional daisy chaining of up to six models together and multiple set up and ducting options. 

Overhead + Floor Installation

Unlike traditional dehumidifiers, the Quest 105 can be mounted overhead, freeing up floor space for a variety of growing needs. This installation can be completed using 2 Quest hanging brackets and chains.

While overhead installation is recommended, the Quest 105 can easily be installed on the ground floor for growers whose needs may change on a day-to-day basis. Simply place the dehumidifier on the ground with a 2.5” clearance between the bottom of the unit and the ground for sufficient gravity drainage of condensate.

Onboard Dehumidistat for Improved Humidity Control

This overhead Quest unit's onboard dehumidistat operates at three humidity levels – dry, normal, and humid. Based on the set-point, the unit will begin operating when the RH rises above that level and will turn off when the humidity level is reduced by 4 – 6%.

Ducting Options

As with any dehumidifier, the Quest 105 can be ducted to suit an indoor grower. For optimal performance, no ducting is recommended for the dehumidifier. However, there are other options for ducting:

• Ducted Return and Supply: Return dry, warm air back into your grow room or space with a ducted return and supply. Simply allow humid air to flow into the Quest inlet and duct the cool, dry air back out into the growing space. For optimal performance, be sure to draw in humid air from the ceiling.
• Remote Area with Return Only: This method of dehumidification simply ducts humid air into the unit, and releases the dry, hot air into the isolated or remote room where the unit is located. (ex. in the crawlspace). 
• Ducted Supply in Remote Area: Supply dry, warmer air back into the room without the dehumidifier in the space. Draw air from the same space as the unit, and release warm, dry air back into the grow space or greenhouse.

• Daisy Chain Option: Wire up to six of these models together for use in large warehouse spaces. All six will operate from the same sensor on the Quest DEH 3000 R, so all models must be in the same room. 
• Fan Only Runs Whens Dehumidifying: The fan runs only when the compressor is operating and the unit is dehumidifying.
