What Makes a Second?

Our pottery process has many delicate elements and sometimes the pots come out of the kiln not meeting our highest standards.

The pot may not be the correct standard size or may be uneven in shape. The glaze may be uneven or have flaws such as pinholes, excessive crazing, or protrusions through the glaze. There may be visible throwing rings, or the pattern may not represent Miranda's ideal design. These 'seconds' are available at a lower price.
