This Rosso is sourced from biodynamically farmed vines that meet specifications for full Brunello classification. The estate is restricted in the volume of Brunello di Montalcino that it can bottle, however, so we are fortunate enough to receive an extra high quality Rosso from this winery. The fruit is hand-harvested and hand-destemmed, and then fermented with native yeasts for 15-20 days. Aging takes place in large neutral oak vessels for 2+ years before bottling. This is a pure, elegant wine that delivers well more than what is listed on its label.
