• This is a genuine new Mercedes-Benz part in the MB package, and DOES include the necessary special rivets for installation.
  
  
•  The Mercedes EPC / Electronic Parts Catalog says, in a footnote, "To Be Adapted During Assembly" which could mean using new rivets, but I am not sure.
