Each piece has been hand carved and sanded before being hand-painted by our skilled artisans with auto-grade paints which have a long life and are very durable. The chess set comes with 34 pieces including 2 extra queens. All the pieces are weighted by adding an iron stud in the base and have a leather felt on their bases. The weighted chess pieces are a pleasure to touch and feel. Weight: 1300 grams (45.85 oz).
