LSDA Rim Exit Device Heavy Duty PD9200 Series
The LSDA Rim Exit Device Heavy Duty PD9200 Series is designed for the most demanding high traffic doors, providing a robust solution at an affordable price. This series is an excellent alternative to the renowned Von Duprin devices, offering the same high-quality performance at a fraction of the cost. Whether for exterior or interior out-swinging doors, the PD9200 Series is the go-to choice for locations such as hospitals, office spaces, schools, industrial sites, government buildings, and places of assembly.Key Product Features
The PD9200 Series is not just a cost-effective solution but also boasts an array of standard features that enhance its functionality and durability. The devices are certified to BHMA/ANSI A156.3 2008 Grade 1 standards and are UL listed for both the U.S. and Canada. The latch design includes a deadlocking stainless steel rim latch with a 3/4" throw, a vertical rod with a stainless steel top latch of 5/8" throw, and a panic-rated bottom latch of the same size. This versatile design allows for easy latch adjustment for vertical rods. The device is available in two sizes: 36" or 48", and it is made from high-quality materials such as stainless steel, brass, and extruded aluminum.Practical Applications and Specifications
The PD9200 Series is suitable for commercial wood and hollow metal doors, with door thickness ranging from 1 3/4" to 2 1/4". The minimum stile width required is 2 7/8", and the projection is 3 13/16". The keying options include outside trims using conventional mortise or rim cylinders. The device comes in a satin stainless steel finish, providing a sleek and modern appearance. With door prep options for surface applications and trim prep, the PD9200 Series is easy to install and integrates seamlessly into various architectural designs. The device also features standard dogging by a key or a 5/32 hex wrench, with an optional cylinder dogging available. However, it's important to note that fire-rated devices cannot be dogged per the Fire Code. What Our Customers Say
