Selected all the way back in September of 2024, we are excited to present two exceptional single barrels from Heaven Hill. These picks were a little different since we were selecting alongside Jason C from Mash & Drum and Scott Page from My Bourbon Journey. We each picked an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof and a Larceny Barrel Proof!

TASTING NOTES:

• NOSE:  The nose is candied and playful - think citrus and tropical gummy worms wrapped in a soft, mousse-like creaminess.
• PALATE:  The palate is lively and juicy, bursting with lime and peach ring candies chased by a splash of Mai Tai. Notes of maraschino cherry, mango, and dried pineapple sweeten the mid-palate, dusted with just a touch of Tajín before easing into a chewy wave of nougat.
• FINISH:  The finish kicks up a bit of spice but stays dense and satisfying. Those tropical and candied fruits linger even as they fade into layers of pan au chocolat and warm, toasted oak.
