Watching birds fly is magical…we may see it happen every day, but it never ceases to inspire awe in me that so many beings have evolved to live and move in so many different ways. These earrings are inspired by my musings about birds and the fantastic idea that because they can fly they are able to get closer to the moon. White enameled reclaimed steel evokes the lunar surface as we see it; black enameled reclaimed steel bird silhouettes are fused into the white enamel. 

Lightweight and vibrant, the enameled steel pieces hang on handmade oxidized recycled sterling silver wires. 

All jewelry is handmade from a minimum of 50% reclaimed materials.
