A dual-plinth design, MMF-5.3 is built with its platter, main bearing, tonearm, and cartridge located on the top platform and cleverly isolated from the motor, switch, wiring, and feet – all mounted on the bottom platform. Viso-elastic cones separate the two platforms and supply additional damping from harmful vibrations. A stainless-steel main bearing sheathed in Teflon, dynamically balanced alloy platter with a soft-felt mat, record clamp, adjustable vibration-damping feet, built-in spirit level, dust cover, and 45RPM adaptor further enhance the stunning performance and incredible versatility afforded by MMF-5.3.
