Each Delta Bio+16 fountain pen is made of 100% organic protein-based material hand-turned from solid bar. The pen body is crafted with concave milling, featuring 16 polished facets, and the pen is finished with 24-carat gold-plated metal components. The pen's "Charm" model clip is milled from a solid bar, hand-engraved, and finished.

The Delta Bio+16 fountain pen uses a fixed piston filling system designed in the Delta workshops and is fitted with a two-tone stainless steel #6 nib, 14K standard sized nib, or a large #8 14k nib.
