Samuel Robert specialized in high-end leather, and by the mid-1970s he'd moved with the times into faux suede. This 1970 suit is impeccably chic with a self ruffle (like ribbon candy!) along the front edge, neckline and wrists of the fully lined jacket. A-line skirt has light gathers to either side of the fitted waistband. Blouse is made-to-match with an attached self neckline tie and buttoned cuffs. Original tags are attached, including an astounding $598.00 price from thirty years ago.
