Lucie Ann lingerie is truly exceptional, and this black silk satin negligee is an outstanding find from one of her 1950s collections. It's a bias cut nightgown studded with prong-set rhinestones to the sheer lace bust and hem flounce, each rhinestone flanking a satin band that has a tromp l'oeil woven-through effect. Lace bodice is sheer to the bust, sides of the torso, and throughout the back. Lace flounce hem has a center front slit.

This negligee looks very much like a 1930s item, but the Lucie Ann label first appeared in 1947. It's an extraordinary find, ideal for a bride's trousseau, in the very best materials and workmanship.
