A splendid 1940s satin bedspread, so beautiful to see in floral print with chain stitched stippling. This 40s full size comforter is a large rectangle in lightly padded floral satin, with a dust ruffle to three sizes in solid pink acetate satin.

It measures 52.5 x 78 inches, almost exactly matching the mattress size of a standard full bed. The dust ruffles are 20 inches high.

Condition is excellent, looks unused, with two brown 1/4-inch dots along one side of the dust ruffle and a few scant liquid dots below this. All chain stitching is intact except a two-inch section at one corner (see photo). Overall terrific!
